I was intrigued as to how it stands against its stage predecessor. \rThe cast is phenomenal and the plot, although a bit different, is clear and powerful. \rI loved the surprising cameos from Broadway actors and from the original cast.\rAll in all, it's a great summer movie and probably the best movie musical I've seen in a while.
