I enjoyed the on location shots of New York City. The cultural reverence theme was an aspect I really appreciated as well. Very much enjoyed the music and the close up eye shots at the end of the movie. I did feel the movie moved fast and there seemed to be a lot of jump scenes and for me it didn't flow well. Some dialogue seemed awkward and the acting performances did not convince me either. The pinnacle basketball didn't have the climax I was expecting either.

I thought it was based on a true story. So I was def disappointed at the end when there was no update on where he went from the end of the movie. Then I googled and found out it wasn't real. The ending just kind of left me wanting more though.

Authentic & edgy coming of age story.

Right timing for this to be released. This movie displays cultural differences with same goal.
