Not a Kevin Hart fan at all but all the other actors did a good job. Movie is re-made from the better original Intouchables and the story-line took too many liberties with additions and omissions. I would only recommend this movie if the original movie was seen first.

I feel like this could have been an AMAZING film if it had been done a bit differently. Bryan Cranston and Nicole Kidman were great actors as always, with Cranston's performance feeling especially authentic and genuine. But Kevin Hart's character felt more like Kevin Hart playing himself at times, and some of the comedic bits felt cheap given the caliber of the actors (Cranston, Kidman). The film had a lot of side plots (Dell's son & baby mama drama, the whole thing with Lilly) that distracted from the main story (Dell & Philip) and didn't add much to the film. In fact, the Lilly plot was so terrible that it should have just been cut. It ended so abruptly and for what?!Ultimately, the film couldn't decide if it wanted to be a comedy or drama, and so it tried (unsuccessfully) to attempt to be both. It should have stuck with just one.
