Very boring. Ben Affleck has no expression throughout the entire film and never raises his eyebrows. All the best scenes happen off camera.

The film begins as a run-on sentence: Too much action and little to no characterization. It is difficult to care about the character and his 'struggles'. Interesting subplots about religion, the KKK, father-daughter relationships, and hollywood are too quickly glossed over. Watch this for Elle Fanning.
