I went into this movie thinking it would be pretty scary considering Blumhouse produced it and they are known for pretty scary movies. This movie was not scary at all. I was also expecting a little more action but didn’t get that either. Overall it was ok. The best part of the movie was Josh Hutcherson.

Fun movie. Could be good « gateway horror » for younger viewers.

The movie marketing was great but the actual movie was just okay. The acting was fine but it needed to be a bit darker and scarier to live up to the legacy of the video game it is based upon..

it's a cross between Chucky and Saw Movie but without the gore.
