Cate Blanchett was amazing! Enjoyed the sounds and the dramatic tensions in the movie.

Intense, beautiful, and sadly believable.

Such a timely piece on how we as viewers simultaneously intake and analyze artistry and the artist. When good art comes around - it sits tightly under the magnifying glass. One's actions outside of their specific art come into human discourse as part of the regulatory conversation - whether appropriate or not. This theme rightfully served us throughout the film as comparisons were drawn from centuries ago to now.

The acting was phenomenal but I found some of the story line a bit meandering at times and there were some little mysteries left unsolved. Overall, great film with keen insights into the orchestral world. Sad testament to the unraveling of a career due to perfectionism and lust for power and stardom at all costs.
