I grew up Loving Elvis, as my Mom Loved him and she still loves him, as do I. I met him When I was a little girl, as did my two older sisters. He and my mom became friends. She was working in Las Vegas when he came there and did his concerts at the International Hotel & Casino. He even gave my sisters and I each, a Teddy Bear for Christmas, the Christmas before he got his Angel Wings.

As a lifelong Elvis fan, I have never seen a film get Elvis’ life right, and I have never seen a biopic be absolutely perfect, until now. Baz Luhrmann delivered, by far, the best biopic about any star ever made and ever will be made. Austin Butler and Tom Hanks delivered in the roles of Elvis and The Colonel like I have never seen ever before in any actors. Elvis was done justice.

It was excellent, it made me laugh and cry as was the lady sitting next to me. A movie I'll take my mom to, sexy but no full on nude sex scenes. Very well done, from the great start to the sad finish. Austin Butler really captured the spirit of Elvis.

Fantastic movie. Austin Butler should win an Oscar for his outstanding channeling of 'The King"!
