4.5 Stars. Good special effects. Great storyline. Will recommend to friends. 3D helped enhance the effects.

This is a really good movie

I enjoyed the flm immensely !! Having read Moby Dick the movie gave it new meaning, Whalers, the rush in spotting the pods, it's investors, the families involved, the magnitude of it all. Chis was excellent in film, as was the captain. Would highly recommend viewing.

I got to see In The Heart of The Sea early for free and this is my true opinion. Except for the first few minutes which had no sound, this movie was fantastic. I loved the story that was told that inspired Moby Dick. The larger than life whale and great acting made this a movie worth seeing. I definately recommend it in 3D!
