Though different from the Broadway musical, of which I am a HUGE fan, I adored the film! The casting was EXCELLENT. And to see so many familiar In The Heights alumni faces, including Doreen <3, was truly beautiful.

Having seen the theatrical production on Broadway years ago, my expectations were high. The filmed production exceeded my expectations.\r\rThe movie was beautifully filmed, and this production evoked all of the feelings (and then some) I remembered from seeing the musical on stage.

I have listened the the Broadway soundtrack too many times to count. I have wanted to see it for years... And this movie finally allowed me to see it. It was so beautifully done! I was so emotional. The little special effects in "96,000" weren't really necessary, but they weren't distracted. This whole experience was just so amazing. I loved this movie so much. It is so moving.
