I thought it did an excellent job of passing the legacy onto the next generation.

It was the perfect way to leave our beloved family with the passing of the torch. In the end everyone had a very meaningful role to play; those upstairs and down. The Crawley story is that of many landed gentry families who had no choice but to change with the times as large country piles could no longer operate at scale as they once had but such respect for each character and the production did a fantastic job at bringing closure to each chapter. More than marvelous! Thank you to Focus Features for the screening invite, I thoroughly enjoy each one and look forward to the next!

All loose ends were tied up nicely. I loved the homage paid to all of the departed characters.

It’s such a wonderful film! Sweeping and grand, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale brings back all of the characters we’ve loved for so many years and fills our hearts with their stories. Lavish in glamor and spectacle, it’s a testament to love, family, and the connections that make us all human.
