It stayed with me until the next morning. Great historical piece on NYC and visually it was stunning. Loved Hugh Grant and Meryl Street as always. So glad to know that it was a true story.

The performances were spot-on and the story unearthed true events that few knew about, as well as shedding light on an era and culture in NYC. I thought Streep's singing could have been a little worse though. >

This is a fun movie. It is ironic the kind of things we will laugh at. The character played by Hugh Grant, is charming.

You watch it not sure if you should cry or laugh ! Meryl Streep was a joy to watch she clearly enjoyed her role in the movie singing badly .
