I thought the movie was an engaging Sci-Fi Thriller filled with laughs, shocks, and jumps that kept us on the edge of our seat from start to finish. A bit cliché at times but it fulfills it requirement as a 'Leave-your-brain-at-home-popcorn-movie' which is to simply be entertaining. 4 Stars

great movie with lots of special effects

I enjoyed "The Meg". It had a good story line.I would compare it to the movie "Jaws" (which some of the scenes doesn't seem realistic these days). I would say that back in the days "Jaws" seemed more intense. I feel that the music that was played in "Jaws" made it feel a lot more scary.

It was exciting to watch! It's like a revamped version of jaws!
