Not as engaging as I wanted it to be, but it was nice to have the main characters who aren't stereotypical Chinese Americans. I really enjoyed the relationship between Boogie and his best friend - that seemed to be believable and sincere. The rest of the relationships didn't ring true to me.

Another coming of age story with an Asian twist. I like the cultural references because it gives the general audience a glimpse of what life is like for an asian American living in America. There is always a clash between traditional asian culture and more modern american culture.

Could not get audio, but got picture using HDMI from computer to TV.\rI would not recommend showing it now to mixed audiences now, because of the tension of Anti- Asian sentiments. It would only inflate some to do more violence.
