It seems the film didn’t know what it wanted to be. The portrayal of its characters was inconsistent (main character: was she brave or fearful, was she sane or troubled, her mother seemed to balk at the news that her daughter was about to be murdered, etc.) The ending had a supernatural aspect that made zero sense, none. Would not recommend

This movie doesn't spend much time building on the character's backstory. I think if they had of explored the main character's backstop in the beginning, I could have been more invested in her. The movie was partially engaging, but the other half the time I was just ready for the conclusion. Even when you get all the pieces, the movie is still very confusing.

It's a poor reboot of the Hitcher...

Acting of the three leads was very good.. but continuity of the movie was a mess. No spoiler, but when someone is seriously injured then has NO SIGN of injury a scene later, someone didn't bother to do their job in continuity! Story continued to build.. but the story script then started heading south (like they handed it to four different 5th grade classes to write). NOT good!
