It is a classic action movie that stays true to the original Equalizer movie. More than satisfying.

After the first intro action sequence it had a slow start. But good character development. The underlying commentary about doing what is right and making a difference for yourself was a fresh and pleasant surprise from Hollywood. Denzels thoughtful analysis of the original suicide scene was to long and drawn out and at some spots I found myself starring at the ceiling like he did during that scene. The final scene during the hurricane was plausible, but not likely, but still played out well.
