Great movie! Clever, unique story with interesting characters. Moving, but lots of humor as well. Makes you want to look around and not take things for granted. And it has a great score! I liked it a lot!

Great movie! Would definitely watch again.

It is a good movie about a sometimes fun, sometimes serious journey. The trailer gave away too much in my opinion, but it did give me a false expectation about the ending which left me a little surprised. The Volvo self driving car seemed like a car ad placed in the middle of the movie. There were certainly some plot holes (no physical before flight for the mom, instant communication from Mars to Earth, having instant communication with a stranger when you are "classified", having instant communication and watching movies but getting freaked out by a horse) but they were easy to overlook for the sake of the plot. The scenes in zero gravity appeared too fake (people and items being held up by cable or string), but not to the point that it detracted from the rest of the movie.Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and felt it a bit of a change of pace from what has come out recently, and I would recommend it to friends.

It was a wonderful film with an interesting premise - which lent itself to several good laughs, as well as a lot of heart. Wonderfully acted and great special effects that were worth the wait!
