Risen is filmed from a non-believer's point of view. It was inspirational to see how he became a believer. It's also a testament to how we can have such difficulty w/ faith and we have to have something more tangible before we believe in things. There was some more "modern" type of language used that I'm sure wasn't, especially in that region, in that time, but that's ok. The important thing is this soldier's transformation. It's a nice film w/ a great message. Definitely worth seeing.

The movie was beautifully filmed and the story was very good. It dragged a little in a couple of places, but the 95 minute run time was the perfect length. It never felt too long.

I really enjoyed it. I was a bit skeptical about it but thought it was very well cast, the movie kept moving and it was filmed beautifully.

An Inspiring and uplifting experience. It made me focus and rethink what's really important in ones life.
