Great characters. Really made you understand what deafness is like. Riz Ahmed was astounding.

i liked the movie.

Its a lot slower than I was expecting. I would have liked more story of him at the center.

This was a really interesting movie. The use of language, sound, subtitles, and when to have the audience hear (or not hear) like Ruben was really cool. I liked the diversity in the cast as well. I didn't really like Ruben as a character, though, so I found it hard to care about him sometimes even when he was hurting or struggling. That said, Riz's acting was really good and so was everyone else's.
