The movie was a very good family oriented movie about the strength of the human spirit. It’s also a great movie about the relationships between sons and parents, including leadership skills and earning your place in the world. And most importantly, it’s about the sacred bond we form with other natural inhabitants in this planet, man’s best friend, the dog...in this case - played by wolves. It’s also about trust and forming your inner strength and empowering your children.

Beautiful coming of age movie that although the setting and circumstances don't really apply to current times (hunting/gathering) the premise is still something that applies now. Having to find your own way when faced with difficult choices and situations. Having to find your inner strength while remaining true to yourself and your beliefs and finding friendship and family where you least expect it.

I like the film a lot! Much more emotional than I had anticipated.

It is a little slow in the beginning. But a good story with a good ending.
