Likable - unlikable - likable. Many emotions. The main character didn't like himself, which was a big cause of his likability. The acting was very good.

Excellent character portrayal and recreation of 1973 with big cars and big family secrets that have power to tear families apart.

Well acted and really let Paul Bettany shine. Loved the Walid character and Peter Macdissi did great. Sophia Lillis was well played ... you could almost see and feel her doing all the mental process. It was a bit tidy but overall still took you on an emotional rollercoaster.

It was a very different film from what I thought it would be based on watching the trailer. I really liked Paul Bettany's performance even though all the performances were quite good. \r\rI'm giving the film four stars because of the performances, but the storyline was a bit hokey at times. As the film goes on, it seems to have a wee bit of trouble balancing the melodrama with the warm comedic elements. Still, it's forgivable, all because of the performances. The cinematography is on point as well.
