Started out slow but it ended up to be a very sweet story. I'm not sure why, the movie trailers have the movie thinking you'd be watching a straight - up comedy but the movie more of a 'dramady'

I was expecting a light buddy trip comedy with all the usual tropes of the genre, with some culture clash humor added to the mix. I got that, for sure, but the movie has surprising heart and emotion, and I found myself invested in the characters a lot more than I expected to be. Most of that is down to the two leads who do a fine job and have good chemistry. The light touches on social issues and the divide between cultures add some more depth to an already decent movie.

It was good - the ending definitely got me. I really liked how the family came together at the end. It was definitely a bit goofy but I enjoyed it overall.

good story line. was a feel good movie. Showed some sad real life prejudice scenes.
