A riveting political thriller with some of the best performances you’ll see this year.

I knew of the Black Panther Party, but did not know the story behind it. It was very informative and enlightening. It was a little too violent for my taste, but I made it through to the end. I also did not like the constant use of profanity, but I guess that's how they talked. The acting was good and believable. The writers, producers, and directors did an excellent job of making this movie.

Judas and the Black Messiah is powerfully riveting, highly political and historically significant. The film excels due to the solid direction and effortless editing, using simple visuals to let us focus on their conversations. This was a heartfelt film and it touched home. To know that someone so bright and loving was murdered at the young age of 21 while he slept was sickening. And to have someone you trust to be apart of your demise is heartless.
