This was an interesting film. It did not blow me away, but it was historical, which I appreciated.

While the movie correctly portrayed Richard Jewell as a victim, we found the timing of the film suspect given the current political climate. We felt vilifying the media and government isn't the right message to send at this moment and were prompted afterward to research the making of the film. It was interesting to learn the movie was both filmed and released between June - November this year.

This movie makes fun of a hero by making him look like a fool. The audience laughed at things that were not funny. It treats homosexuality as a joke, which I took offense to. Aside from the film which was mildly entertaining, the patrons, as I find with most early screenings, were loud, talkative, and disrespectful. I almost left. Security should tell people before the film to be quiet and respect
