Enjoyed until the ending - too abrupt. Felt it was left hanging.

This is a very touching and engrossing movie. The acting is very riveting and while I feel like it was a hair long - it's definitely worth a watch. Just don't be over whelmed by the first bit - it's loud as the main character was a drummer ...it gets to the story quick enough - and that's where you get pulled in.

They casted this movie really well. Eventhough this movie could be perceived as "slow", I find the storyline real. When one's life is ripped right from under you (in this case the sense of hearing for a drummer), I can see how one's world just stops. Great story!

I thought it was an interesting idea. It reminded me of my dad who had hearing aids for the last several years of his life. His hearing was ok when you spoke with him 1-1, but in a crowd, it was all just ambient noise and voices were very indistinguishable. I think Riz did a great job of conveying that frustration.
