Enjoyable and quite funny...though the ending was sad.

I love the friendship between the two filmmakers that spans their lives. Earl sees his friend so clearly. They bring this coping ability to Rachel who is battling cancer. I laughed and I cried. Such a sweet tale of love, friendship, and finishing what you start, even if it's after you're gone. You never stop learning.

It was great, but listing it as a comedy was a disservice to it. I was upset that twice in the movie,m he said that she was not going to die, & then she did. Also during the whole thing, he never told her that he loved her. This might have changed her decision to quit chemo, or at least on her dying bed. Having been there, done that, recently, I know how important those things are at that time

Very funny right up to the end where I finished it out in tears of the feel good kind.
