Some of the story line seemed hasty or like it didn't quite fit perfectly. Then I relaxed and released my thoughts of trying to make sense out of anything and focused on having a good time and knowing that Sam Raimi always delivers and sure enough, he and 50 States of Fright did just that. With gore and peppered with campy macabre it played out like a fun resurrection of Creepshow!

It is a bit not that scary, but fun. The first episode was more like classic scare for kids. Second episode was not totally clear story and it should have been more that 2 episodes to see full idea of quality of series. Also I am glad it was visual screening, because for 50 min it is not worse going to theater. Definitely needs 3-4 episodes, not just 2. Another thing, I was hopping for my NY state

I love the concept of doing one story per state, and Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, etc.) is doing it right! Definitely creepy, some jump scares, great actors, and luscious cinematography. \r\rCan't wait to see them all!

The Golden Arm was ok, some decent gore/effects. But, Almost There was really well done - well acted, good pacing, some nice jump scares, and just all in all a great story. As much as I liked it, I wouldn't subscribe to Quibi. The "designed for your phone" format doesn't appeal to me. I want horror on a big screen with intense sound. Something I don't get watching on my phone.
