Terrific modern remake of a classic. A few slower, drawn out moments could have been shortened while retaining the same dramatic effect. Would have enjoyed a bit more back story on the female character. Couldn't imagine any better choices for both leads...very powerful together. This is that rare movie that I will see a second time.

Great Movie

Lady Gaga did not disappoint...strong. Very emotional roller coaster movie

Loved the energy and immersive feel of the concert scenes. Cooper is terrific as the grizzled rock star on his way down and out while Lady Gaga shows some solid acting chops, especially early on when she has to show that she can't believe she's singing in front of an entire stadium. Elliott put in his usual great work, and it was nice to see AD Clay in a mature but fun role as a father. Grade A-
