heart thumping polemic with many favorite actors. The villains are villainous , the heroes heroic, the violent action almost relentless...a total Guy Movie. If you like CGI - computer generated special effects, you'll think "Oscar!" - how DID they do it? More macho mano a mano than character depth or development, but, hey, it's Hollywood. Guaranteed to incite hatred of all those in Sand Lands.

Great follow up to Olympus has Fallen, the banter between Banning and Asher is great, the action is non stop.

This movie knows exactly what it is and gives it's audience exactly what they expect. It was thoroughly enjoyable and felt like a nice modern take on the classic action movies of the 90s.
