Touching movie - filled with good and bad memories which have haunted these fellows throughout their life. Good story, good acting.

I was astonished about the ability of Mr. Linklater to strike the right tone in the movie. It es extremely difficult when discussing about such complex issues as patriotism, sacrifice, war veterans. Characters were well developed and the cast is amazing! There were lots of tears at the end of the movie. A must see especially today, at the veterans day!

Coming from a military family who's husband served in vietnam for 2 yrs and 25 more years on the army. The 3 characters were portray very well as nam gets. Reminds of some of my husband friends. Some that want to forget the war like the rev. Some that are questioning why we were there like sal.. most are like doc just move on and are quiet. The colonel was portray exactly right. And the situation
