Although the second act is fatty, the first act is a thing of self-referential beauty. The final third expands the scope of the film and keeps it from looking as cheap as it does at other times.Even when the Tatum-Hill lovers' quarrels wear thin, the actors are having so much fun that it's impossible for the audience to not go along with it.
