Good Action movie with some funny moment. But we missed the Stephen King touch of scariness...

The Dark Tower finally makes it to the big screen, and while this may be an bumpy start, there is enough to like to make me want more. This rebooted version is sure to confuse and frustrate long-time fans, and the lack of marketing as to what this is supposed to be will surely not help. The sounds of gunfire was noticeably bad. Perhaps the gunslinger should have been called the cap gunslinger. The climax of the movie provides very little catharsis because the movie is so short

Does not create its own type of cinematic "universe" that immerses you the way the Marvel (e.g. Avengers) or DC (e.g. Wonder Woman) movies do. Actors do not "fit" their characters. Many parts of the movie seem derivative, reminds me too much of other movies like Harry Potter, Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Monotonous, convoluted plot, explored superhero tricks. The ending had redeeming value
