I really enjoyed this movie! So many call-backs to the original and stayed (mostly) true to the story. It's a fun, funny movie.

Thought it was better than the orginal. Would recommend if you like movies where people.sing (anti-musical people should avoid). They did a good job w casting.

Even though the sound mix felt really off (music drowning out the lyrics and dialogue quite often), this adaptation worked. Charismatic actors (for the most part) and nice updates to the script. Though I wish the filmmakers trusted the audience enough to not have to hide the fact that this is a MUSICAL in all the promo reels I've seen.
