The movie was super fun, entertaining, and humorous. Action-packed from beginning to the end. A great family movie and it was great to see the Latin community represented in a superhero movie.

Great introduction to a cool DC Comics character, including the style, action, emotion, and Mexican representation. Love the references to the original Blue Beetle characters and connecting them together.

Blue Beetle far exceeded my expectations. The writing really captured the latino experience, including poignant dialogue about immigrant life. There were really nice choices that reflected latino culture such as soundtrack selections and repeated references to Chapolino. Moreover, the movie was very, very funny and the acting, especially by newcomer Bruna Marquezine was great. Overall, very fun.

Low stakes, full of heart, better than I'd thought it'd be.
