Great movie. The whole family loved it. Even the 13 year old that hates all the live action remakes.

We all grew up with the classic 1989 animated film but this live action reimagining of the classic fairytale is definitely its own beast whose message is very appropriate to the times. The changes they did felt fitting with the details they used as their foundation such as the Caribbean setting both under the sea and in the "above world" which made everything feel right in place.

This movie was way better than I thought it was going to be! I loved the new songs too!

This movie was masterfully created. The filming was well done and very realistic. The actors/actresses portrayed their characters very well. The movie itself was moving and was a great remake of the original. It was very moving to see little girls of all origins identify with the characters. Excellent film and highly recommend!
