Brilliant return of Todd Field. Stellar performance by Cate Blanchet. Immersive, authentic world.\r\rTonally, I was sometimes unsure whether I was watching a drama or a psychological thriller, which felt like the point, but did exacerbate what was already a tedious runtime. I loved how Todd was always a couple steps ahead of the audience\r\rMark Strong’s wig was a mistake, though

Wonderful! Terrific film. Blanchett is superb.

It was very interesting and intense film I would’ve never thought the life of a conductor was that strange. But I will definitely watch it again and it was worth going to the movies for.
