Way too violent. I like Dev Patel and I know a story was in there but really hard to digest with all the killings and bloodshed that dominated the story.

it was a hindu version of enter the dragon, reason to go back and kill the person ho killed your mother you had to go to a flashback as a kil , just like the old man who was telling bruce lee to get in a tornament at hans island to avenge his sisters death, a mix of john wick unnessary but nessary violence, people would be squeemish here n there, loved the police chase scene tho

I would not recommend to my friends as I know this is not really their type of movie. It wasn't horrible but wasn't like I need to see this again movie. Several underlying messages that I sensed, I'm not sure it that was just me or intentional. I did appreciate the humor that was sprinkled throughout the darkness.

O.k. film, just not something I can recommend due to\rsome boring scenes & all the flashbacks to when\rMonkey Man was a child. A lot of scenes are at night \rand it's hard to see all the scenery or action.\rI respect Dev Patel and acknowledge this is his\rDirecting Debut. I will pick it up at the public library\rwhen it comes out on DVD. It is worth seeing again.\rThank You for allowing me see this film.
