I remember seeing Tammy and Jim when I was young but I didn't know what really happened. This movie makes me want to do more research into their lives. I think that she really wanted to help people but just got caught up in the trappings.

I thought the movie was well done and all the actors were great!!!

Jessica Chastain is almost unrecognizable as she completely embodies Tammy Faye. It is a clear eyed recounting of the rise, fall and redemption of this iconic televangelist figure. Gorgeously shot, and faithful to the material, we watch this indomitable spirit rise from roots of poverty to national star.\r\rWell worth the ride.

Wonderfully presented portrait of a complex character who I had preconceived notions about before seeing the film. Very humanizing. Great cast, wild makeup, loved it. Going to watch the documentary that it is based off of next.
