Great Movie

What a beautiful film! Jennifer Hudson was so spot on in her portrayal of Aretha Franklin. Her singing & acting should win her an Oscar. The movie was so authentic, from the clothing to the characters. If I had a criticism, it would be that it was a bit long, but still, so enjoyable to watch that I did not mind much. Also, Forrest Whitaker, who played Aretha's father, also did a wonderful job. I just felt they should have aged him more physically over the 15 yrs. or so that the movie took place. Throughout the film he looked exactly the same. With such a great film, even that is forgiven.❤

Excellent movie! Captivating, gut-wrenching, amazing acting just overall delightful experience. The story line is so well written and played. Loved it!!
