An illuminating look at the relationship between Eliz 1 and Mary Queen of Scots as well as some of the background forces that brought about the tragic outcome between them. The two main actresses are very convincing and evince understanding and sympathy for their positions in the historical time they lived in. Our only suggestion was that this movie be offered with subtitles, since at times accents of characters made dialogue difficult to get. Maybe such a film could be released with an option for subtitles or none on different screens? Thanks for inviting us to the screening. Much enjoyed.

I like period pieces and historical movies. I always felt that Mary Queen of Scots story is under told, so I am glad this movie shined more of a light on what was going on between the Queen cousins.

A visually beautiful film. A stunningly illustrated story portraying the history of a monarchy richly infused with a grit and, only set for those of us who can fully appreciate where our roots stem from culturally. It is a film definitely worth of a strong nod and a hats off. Thank you!
