This movie is a direct representation of what is happening in this country and what has been happening for a long time. It was powerful it's was educational, it was emotional, and I think that this is a movie reminder to us that we can't just say we want to see change we have to fight for it. This movie was also about family, and true friendship.

This movie is an ABSOLUTE see for EVERYONE! I loved it. Gotta go see it again when it opens.Sparked a lot of dialogue within our group.

I thought that the movie the hate u give touched on so many areas of what we are living today and how back in the 90s songs depicted what is going on this present day. It’s sad but reality that the color of our skin as a black person is being viewed as a weapon to those that are non-black. We must rise up against ignorance and love one another as Christ would have wanted us to. I enjoyed it so.

Very powerful film. Everyone should go see it. Story is amazing and the cinematography is beautiful!
