I enjoyed it. In a lot of ways, it reminded me of the classic romances from the 1950s/60s. Definitely recommend

Sylvie's Love had beautiful production values--the vintage cars, the gorgeous costumes, fantastic use of music. The performances were quite good and the film set a mood. Excellent art direction. I would say that the script was a bit weak and the film's pace was a bit too leisurely. It was kind of an old fashioned "woman's picture" from the past. While we got to know a lot about Sylvie, and it was definitely her story, we knew almost nothing of Robert's inner thoughts or his past. I enjoyed the nostalgia; I am a baby boomer and loved how the film drenched my childhood in honey,

Liked it very much. Loved the score. The audio wasn't always clear. I would have appreciated captions.
