I think that we are less invested in Newt Scamander than with previous wizarding world characters, but he grows on you!

A ton of filler only to have them describe the main plot in the crypt. Would have been a more interesting story with the child swap as the story. Just seemed a bit contrived as a "fantastic beasts" story.

It was "fantastic" pun intended. The first viewing I was so shocked I didn't know how I felt! After seeing it 7 times though, I fell in love with it more and more. Finding new things with each viewing. It definitely caters to a Potter fan, finally expanding the Beasts world with Potter. I am heart broken that we must wait 2 years for the next film! I loved Eddie Redmayne & Katherine Waterston!

It was a decent flick. Lots of mystery and suspense. I enjoyed it.
