A slow unrolling of one person’s total understanding of lost and Ahmed nailed it. It’s slow in the beginning and choppy in between but still managed to get you involved deeply.

I found it to be a very impactful, emotionally well done representation of the Deaf community and is something I would watch again.

Great movie. It was not boring or and it did not drag on. It had a good pace and the main character was likeable and sympathetic. The movie had a good narrative revolving around addiction and deafness. The ending was both sad (since his girlfriend seemed to have moved on without him and they ended their relationship, his prior group home is no longer available to him, and his hearing didn't get better) yet uplifting and moving because he finally felt at peace with being completely deaf.

I enjoyed this movie about a drummer who becomes deaf. He is given the opportunity to live in a deaf community to learn sign language but wanted to do more with his life and eventually ventures on to get surgery. At that point he is able to hear again and he goes on with his love.
