The people who wrote this movie have a tin ear. Almost everything that came out of the mouths of people in the film sounded like a high schooler's idea of what action movie conversations would be. Also, what was with the close-ups on the fights? This is CGI--there's no excuse for super close shots where everything looks like a mess. Was Dougherty trying to make a Transformers film? Mega boring!

The movie was slow paced. Confusing plot with holes.

The writing was just so so so bad

With all the advanced Movie techniques, the monsters looked like something out of the early 90s. Took all the Japanese Monster battles and put into one movie. Already done and not far better from original movies. The characters were so poorly developed that you didn't care if they lived or died The film quality was poor. The comic relief lines fell totally flat. Need better writers & better timing
