Yikes. What a mess. The actors seemed to be doing what they could with the material they were given, but they weren't given much. The dialogue is stilted, spoken mostly in hollow-sounding platitudes while the visual effects were occasionally so bad that the theater actually laughed out loud. A weak villain and disjointed pacing didn't help matters. I hope these get better on day.

As a long-time comics fan I was lost with characters that didn't feel right. Script was forced comedy or syrupy dialogue. No context was given to where anything was happening and flow of time wasn't established. The villain was generic and would have been better if they haf made a New Gods movie on its own. Overall, a choppy effort only interesting for its visual effects.

Wow, this was a lot worse than I thought it was going to be, it was two hours of stale jokes and odd performances. Narratively, it was difficult to follow and the villain hardly seemed threatening. At least it's a tiny step up from suicide squad.

Besides just not liking the aesthetic, I think WB/DC raced to this point. Having to essentially introduce and establish 3 Leaguers in addition to juggling all the other exposition needed for this movie hurt the story overall. Everything felt thin and rote. Not a disaster or anything, but not particularly enjoyable, either.
