In The Heights is such an incredible movie. I loved the musical prior and already had sky-high expectations for it, yet still, it BLEW my mind. I noticed the little changes that were made to the story compared to the musical, I really liked those and it sets it apart from the musical as well. The cast is Fantastic, the writing is impeccable, the gigantic dance numbers are so well done, I love it<3

It’s my favorite musical ever in life, & I loved the movie so much. I’m fully Dominican, & seeing all these Hispanic characters finally be represented as normal people with dreams warms my heart

The movie was very good but I missed a few of the songs from the musical like Inutil, Sunrise, and Enough...thus I missed the character of the Mother. The dancing and effects were excellent and in tune with the overall subject matter.\r\rAlso enjoyed the cameo appearances throughout the movie.

The movie did a great job showing diversity, I also made me feel like people understand my struggles are a first gen student.
