This comedy-drama, is based on the true story of a teenager’s love of Bruce Springsteen. Javed is a teenager of Pakistani descent living under the oppressive rules of his father.He becomes smitten by The Boss, relating to the lyrics of his songs (growing up poor in a small town ¬ being understood etc), which evolves into a real lifelong obsession. Beautiful film, loved the story and characters. Music was fun, cinematography was great and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

It was a inspiring movie and def can relate coming from a minority background.

It was fun to watch, the music was great and it also addressed some of the issues surrounding diversity in the 1980s.
