More of a comedy rather than a horror film. The Nun was far superior in a number of ways. I will say this though the character of the Ferryman was a welcome addition to the franchise.

Little disappointing! Was hoping to see more of the parents in action.

A fan of horror movies might appreciate this movie, but I didn't. It was fine, but I felt the supernatural threats in the movie were unfocused. There was a ferry man, a werewolf, a spooky bride and, of course, Anabelle. So much was going on that it was hard to keep up.I also haven't seen the other Anabelle movies: only the first Conjuring film where the doll made a cameo.
