Not quite up to par with the hype. Was hoping the backstory would be more compelling, but pretty basic. The kids were crazy over-the-top. The way the kids talked to each other was so cheesy. And worse of all, the scares were predictable and seen from miles away. Each shot was so structured around a particular scare that it was obvious. And 15 mins of dialogue could have been taken out.

This film was a cross between a horror and a comedy. The scares were all jump scares, and not terribly clever. Not my cup of tea, but my 17-year-old daughter loved it!
