On a meta level Eastwood does to Kathy Scruggs what the FBI and Media did to Richard Jewell. The scene involving Olivia Wilde playing reporter Scruggs at a bar grabbing Jon Hamm's crotch and providing sex in exchange for him naming Jewell as a suspect is sexest and wrong. It never happened. A male reporter would never be shown doing this and Scruggs is now dead and can't defend herself. Disgusting

the story line was predictable and some parts didn't quite flow as well as it could. the actors did a good job but wasn't convincing enough to me unfortunately. For example, the female news reporter (Olivia Wilde) shed some tears during Kathy Bate's speech didn't really convince me...it didn't feel authentic as Wilde's character was pretty heartless and the sudden 360 turn didn't really make sense

I would likely wait until it came out on dvd. Slow in many parts. Could’ve used nite action.
